MABINI, Batangas—PNOC recently participated in Brigada Eskwela 2025 in support of the nationwide effort to prepare public schools for the opening of classes in June. This initiative is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to strengthen partnerships with communities through tailored support.
The company donated 20 gallons of paint to both Talaga Elementary School and Mainaga-San Francisco Integrated School to assist in the ongoing maintenance and classroom readiness activities.
The donations were formally turned over by PNOC Corporate Relations Division Officer-in-Charge Milani M. Lucero, and Energy Supply Base (ESB) Department Manager Calito B. Peña. School representatives and Brigada Eskwela volunteers were present to receive the support and carry out preparations in time for the start of the school year.
In addition to material assistance, PNOC, through its ESB, also provided minor electrical services to the school facilities as a follow-through activity to help ensure they are safe and operational for students and staff.

This year’s Brigada Eskwela carries the theme “Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” which emphasizes collective action in building an environment conducive to learning. PNOC’s participation contributes to this shared goal by helping improve the physical conditions of public schools.
Both Talaga Elementary School and Mainaga-San Francisco Integrated School are within the coverage of the company’s CSR program, which prioritizes areas where the PNOC Group operates. Through responsive engagement, PNOC continues to strengthen community relationships and fulfill its role as a responsible government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC).
Led annually by the Department of Education, Brigada Eskwela mobilizes various stakeholders to support public school readiness. For its part, PNOC remains committed to being present and responsive to the needs of the communities it serves.
