TAGUIG CITY, Metro Manila—PNOC, through its Personnel Services Division, continues to champion its digital transformation agenda with the launch of Digital Upskilling Capacity-Building Program on November 4, 2025. The initiative is part of PNOC’s commitment to continuous professional growth and to creating an enabling environment where learning, innovation, and career development go hand in hand.
The training provided PNOC employees with practical knowledge on Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance productivity, creativity, and workplace performance.
Led by Information Technology Professor Rolan M. Macarang, the session combined lectures and interactive exercises on various generative AI platforms. ChatGPT was demonstrated as an AI assistant capable of generating context-based images from text prompts, while Canva highlighted its AI-powered design and image generation features that simplify content creation.
Meanwhile, ElevenLabs presented text-to-speech technology for producing realistic audio narration, and Lumen5 introduced how written materials can be transformed into engaging video content for communication and awareness initiatives.
Other topics emphasized the responsible integration of AI in PNOC operations while upholding ethics, data privacy, and accuracy, covering discussions on AI Awareness and Applications, Responsible and Ethical Use of AI, and AI for Work and Productivity.

“AI is not here to take our jobs, but it can replace those who do not learn how to use it. The best thing we can do is stay curious, keep learning, and use these tools to make our work easier and better,” said Professor Macarang.
As part of the post-training activity requirements, participants are expected to submit outputs demonstrating the practical application of AI tools in their respective functions.
PNOC likewise introduced a Digital Upskilling Leaderboard System to further promote engagement and collaboration among employees. This gamified learning feature is intended to track and recognize the performance of participants based on the timely and quality submission of training outputs and requirements.
Administrative Services Department Manager Atty. Arolf E. Suyom urged the participants to integrate these AI tools into their regular workflows as part of the company’s vision of building a future-ready organization.
“I encourage everyone to stay engaged, explore platforms, and share what you learned with your teams,” she noted, emphasizing that every effort to embrace new technologies will make the company’s business processes smarter, faster, and more efficient.
