As part of its gender and development initiatives, members of the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) participated in a series of webinars hosted by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) in 2023.

On April 26, 2023, GFPS members attended PCW GAD Webinar 2, which tackled the Fundamentals of Gender Mainstreaming, GAD Mandates, and Gender Analysis. The session provided participants with a deeper understanding of the foundational concepts and legal frameworks that guide GAD implementation.

On June 21, 2023, the team learned about the Seven (7) Steps in Formulating a GAD Agenda, equipping them with practical tools for effective GAD planning and integration.

Finally, on September 19, 2023, members participated in a session focused on the proper audit of GAD funds, further enhancing their capability to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance in GAD-related expenditures.

Through these capacity-building activities, PNOC GFPS members continue to strengthen their expertise in gender mainstreaming, ensuring that GAD principles are effectively implemented across the organization.
