The Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) successfully secured the endorsement of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) for its 2023 GAD Plan and Budget (GPB) on July 25, 2023.

This milestone marks the first time in several years that PNOC’s proposed GPB has met the stringent requirements set by both the PCW and the Commission on Audit (COA) for endorsement.

The achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of GFPS members, who worked diligently by holding a series of meetings, brainstorming sessions, and planning workshops to ensure the GPB was responsive, compliant, and aligned with the company’s gender and development goals.

By securing this endorsement, PNOC reaffirms its commitment to integrating Gender and Development (GAD) principles into its programs and operations, ensuring that gender equality remains a priority in the company’s initiatives.
