The PNOC Industrial Park has once again taken steps towards environmental preservation by conducting its annual Park-Wide Coastal Clean-Up on March 24, 2023. The activity was held at the PNOC Industrial Park Construction Jetty shorelines from 6:00 am to 8:00 am, with the participation of 105 volunteers from various companies and organizations. These included employees from Petron, NPC Alliance Corporation, TeaM Philippines Energy Corporation, Orica Philippines Incorporated, Philippine Resins Industries Inc., Eliteblue Security Specialist inc., and Servicio Filipino Inc. Representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Natural Resources Development Corporation also graced the event.

The main objective of the Coastal Clean-up was to promote ocean conservation and protect marine wildlife and the ecosystem by keeping the shorelines free from debris. The volunteers worked tirelessly to collect 1,730.21kg of garbage, comprising plastic (412.10kg), rubber (239.50kg), Styrofoam (245.80kg), and other residuals (832.81kg).

Through this activity, they aim to foster environmental awareness and inspire action towards a sustainable future.
