Mariveles, Bataan—The PNOC Industrial Park (PIP), together with its locators and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC)–Bataan Chapter, successfully collected 32 bags of blood during a donation drive on August 26, 2025.
The initiative was supported by volunteers from PNOC Industrial Park, its locators and partner organizations.

According to the PRC, whole blood donations are separated into components—red blood cells, plasma, and platelets—enabling each unit to potentially save up to three lives. With 32 units collected, the joint effort of the PIP and its partners may benefit nearly a hundred patients in need of transfusions.
Aligned with Republic Act No. 7719, or the National Blood Services Act of 1994, PNOC has been supporting programs that promote health and wellness in host communities. The blood donation drive is also part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, which focus on public health, safety, and community engagement.

Engr. Domingo S. Inlong, Officer-in-Charge of the PNOC Park Management Department, commended the dedication of volunteers. “We are grateful for the strong support of our locators and employees. Their willingness to give time and effort shows the spirit of compassion that we want to continue building in the park. By working with the PRC and promoting volunteerism, we are doing our part for the people and the community.” he remarked.
To mark their participation, donors signed a commitment board carrying the theme “One Donation, Countless Lives—I pledge to do my part.” The gesture honored the volunteers’ generosity and encouraged continued awareness of the importance of blood donation.
With the PRC providing nearly half of the nation’s blood supply through voluntary donations, PNOC is committed to supporting this cause by integrating health-focused initiatives into its CSR agenda.
