MARIVELES, Bataan – As part of its commitment to the long-term development of its host communities, PNOC conducted a three-day skills training program in Barangay Batangas Dos, Mariveles, Bataan, on December 1–3, 2025.
In partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the barangay, the community-based cooking training brought together 21 participants who gained practical knowledge and hands-on experience in preparing a variety of Filipino dishes. The program aims to enhance personal development while opening livelihood and entrepreneurial opportunities for the participants.

Barangay Captain Korina D. Villapando expressed her heartfelt gratitude to PNOC, particularly its Industrial Park, for hosting the training program. She emphasized that initiatives like this go beyond teaching technical skills as they empower residents to build practical abilities, boost their confidence, and explore new livelihood opportunities.

By equipping community members with marketable skills, PNOC aims to open doors for entrepreneurial ventures and contribute to the economic well-being and long-term resilience of families in the barangay.
This skills training is part of PNOC’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and marks the second series of community-based programs, following the 2024 baking training.
