Aug. 12, 2025 – The Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) proudly announces the appointment of Ma. Cristina Sheila Canag Cabaraban as its new President and CEO. In a historic first for the organization, she is the first woman to lead the company.

A seasoned and respected professional, Ms. Cabaraban is a Professional Electrical Engineer who has served on the PNOC Board of Directors since 2023. Her distinguished career includes serving as the former engineering college dean and as past President of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines. Her deep expertise in renewable energy, emerging technologies, and conventional power development positions her as an ideal leader for PNOC’s future.
