PNOC

TAGUIG CITY, Metro Manila—PNOC has been officially recommended and certified for ISO 9001:2015 by SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. (SCPI) on September 16, 2025. This recognition affirms the company’s adherence to globally recognized quality management standards and underscores its commitment to providing efficient and transparent services to its stakeholders.

The certification is the result of a comprehensive evaluation of PNOC’s Quality Management System (QMS). From July 7 to 11, 2025, PNOC’s QMS Team conducted an internal audit across core business and support functions. The internal audit ensured that processes are well-documented, consistent, and aligned with the best practices in organizational management.

To further prepare for certification, PNOC also underwent a pre-assessment audit on July 31, 2025, led by SCPI, which evaluated its readiness and identified opportunities to enhance internal controls. This was followed by two audit stages conducted on August 22 and September 16, 2025, respectively.

The external audit team, headed by Lead Auditor Kim Allan Miranda with support from Merian Domingo and Ma. Fatima Mercurio, validated the company’s successful implementation of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification represents a significant step in institutionalizing quality management and accountability within the company as it fulfills its mandate to work alongside the private sector in developing energy sources and promoting the wider adoption of renewable energy technologies.
