TAGUIG CITY, Philippines — The Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) secured championship titles in both bowling and badminton at the University of the Philippines Geology Alumni Association (UPGAA) Rockers Cup 2026, held on September 19, 2026, at the Celebrity Club in Balara, Quezon City.

PNOC’s bowling team captured the championship, with Atty. Antonio G. Buenviaje, Leo E. Millanes, Peter S. J. Capacete, Rizabel R. Baybay, and Shiela Mae C. Arcueno comprising the winning roster.

In badminton, Richard Miguel D. Allauigan, Jr. and Alvin John M. Bardelas also emerged as champions, completing PNOC’s double championship finish in the tournament.

The Rockers Cup 2026 brought together participants from the energy and geosciences communities, including representatives from the Department of Energy, PNOC Exploration Corporation, Prime Energy, Association of Filipinos for the Advancement of Geoscience, Inc., Tekton, and the University of the Philippines Geology Alumni Association. Featuring badminton and bowling competitions, the event provided participants with an opportunity to engage in sports and foster camaraderie among colleagues and counterparts across the sector.
